Check out this socially conscious video from the students of Urban City Youth, Los Angeles where they feature artistic expressions in tribute to Mike Brown, Oscar Grant, Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner and 20 others.

The song is titled “Young Homies Tribute” where the music was performed and produced by students from Hamilton High School, Los Angeles and the video was made by freshman film majors at CSU, Northridge. The video speaks to the current tension between law enforcement and youth within the communities of most urban cities across America. It’s an amazing look at the deep rooted social consciousness of today’s youth. Urban City Youth is a non profit organization that provides youth an outlet for their own artistic expressions.
